My husband, Shane, and I are the husband-and-wife team behind Rustic Oak Designs!
I'm the creative side of our business—designing, printing, answering messages, and bringing your custom orders to life! Shane is the hands-on guy behind the scenes, taking care of everything from purchasing materials to cutting, sanding, painting, staining, and framing each piece.
Together, we put our hearts into creating beautiful, high-quality, one-of-a-kind pieces made just for you!
When we're not busy in the shop, we're raising our five amazing kids and enjoying life with our dogs!

Our Story
What started as a small dream in 2017 has grown into more than we ever could have imagined.
Rustic Oak Designs began in 2017 while I was on maternity leave from my nursing career after welcoming our twin girls. At the time, our hope was simply to receive a few orders each month and make a little extra income doing something we loved.
Before we had even made our first sign, we took a leap of faith and booked our very first pop-up shop! With a whole lot of encouragement and support from our family, we decided to give it a shot. Little did we know, God had much bigger plans for us.
Within our very first month, we had created over 100 handmade pieces! What started as a little side business quickly grew into something we never expected. Orders kept coming in, our customer base continued to grow, and in the fall of 2018, we made the exciting decision for Shane to pursue Rustic Oak Designs full-time.
Our dream was always to build a business that allowed us to work together, raise our family, and do what we love right here in our small Southern Minnesota community.
Through countless late nights, hard work, prayers, and a whole lot of faith, that dream has become our reality.
Today, we're incredibly grateful to create meaningful, personalized pieces for customers across the country, many of whom have supported us year after year.
We've always believed that God's plans are greater than our own, and looking back, we can see His hand in every step of this journey.

When we're not busy creating and shipping orders, you can usually find us chasing after our five kids and enjoying all the beautiful chaos that comes with a busy family of seven!
We love spending time with family and friends, being outdoors, boating, camping, soaking up the sunshine, and making memories at the lake or in our backyard pool. Family means everything to us, and we're so grateful to have built a business that allows us to do what we love while being close to the people who matter most.
